Dynamic Cupping

IMG_5362.jpg

Cupping therapy has been used throughout history as a adjunct treatment for many ailments. Medical texts describe the technique being used in ancient Egypt.

A single cup or several cups are applied to the skin and create suction over the selected tissues. This helps promote circulation and modulates the inflammatory and healing processes.

Cupping modulates inflammation and promotes circulation. This in turn helps speed up the healing process and optimizes it by aiding in properly aligning newly formed fibers to strengthen the injured tissue.

Dynamic cupping, is done by moving a cup over a select area to release myofascial tension and is sometimes combined with movement of the relevant joint.

Cupping can help people feel more relaxed, decrease muscle tension, ease discomfort over tight areas, and gain flexibility and ease of movement.
